Surf Lessons Program Advanced - Level 3 - Surf Camp Baia de Peniche Surf school - Portugal

This stage is destinated to surfers that catch waves on the green, do a consitent drop, turn both left and right (fronthand and backhand) and have control over the board and the wave.

Modern surfing is all about the ability of the surfer to generate speed. How to produce that speed and in what part of the wave you can generate it are aspects to focus on. We will teach you to adapt your surf to the characteristics of the wave, exploring all it’s possibilities no matter if it is a reefbreak, pointbreak or beachbreak.
Maneuvres like floaters, snap and cut-back will be better when generated with more velocity. At this stage we also introduce you to new maneuvres like barrels and aerials.

Trying to take advange off the pocket area (where the wave is stronger and creates more speed) is very important. The goals at this level require a lot of training so it is absolutelly necessary to videotape the student in order to correct any mistakes that may occur.
